Melbourne Insight Meditation Group (MIM) is a community of meditators
practicing in the tradition of Insight (Vipassana) Meditation. We aim to
support each other and develop our practice. We welcome beginners or
experienced meditators to join us.
When and Where
Weekly Sitting Groups
guidance is offered. Meditation cushions are provided.
Each session includes:
• Sitting meditation
• Walking meditation
• Occasional dharma talks with guest teachers
• Group discussion/sharing with tea
Please note: The
meditation practice may not be suitable for those who have experienced
psychosis or who are currently experiencing acute depression. If in doubt,
please seek advice from a psychologist or psychiatrist.
